BLAG Beginnings & Style
Sarah J. Edwards and Sally A. Edwards began BLAG as teenagers with Saturday job wages while at art school. Inspired and intuitively driven by the music, they set about bringing stories to fans by alternative means.
They eschewed the critics’ approach and created an editorial ethos inspired by late night chat shows. Their interviews became infamous within music journalism networks and artists record labels and publicists often insisted Sally and Sarah be first on the many artist’s publicity schedules to “put the artists in a good mood.”
